Volta Mantovana is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Mantua in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 120 km east of Milan and about 20 km northwest of Mantua. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 6,915 and an area of 50.3 km².[1]
The municipality of Volta Mantovana contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Bezzetti, Castelgrimaldo, Cereta, Falzoni, and Foresto.
Volta Mantovana borders the following municipalities: Cavriana, Goito, Marmirolo, Monzambano, Valeggio sul Mincio.
