Volkan Babacan (born August 11, 1988 in Antalya, Turkey) is a Turkish football player.
Volkan Babacan is a highly promising young goalkeeper who has played for both the youth and senior team of Fenerbahçe. Fenerbahçe decided to loan him for 2006-2007 season to Istanbulspor. He played 13 matches there (13 matches, 21 goals, 1170 mins.)
He currently plays for Fenerbahçe as a third choice goalkeeper behind Serdar Kulbilge and Volkan Demirel.

He made a name for himself in the U17 World Cup in 2005, where along with Tevfik Köse and Nuri Şahin, he starred for the Turkish side that made their way to the semi-finals before losing a dramatic match to Brazil. He currently plays for the Turkish U21 National Football Team.
He also played 5 matches for national olympic team in 2005 Mediterrean Games and won silver medal.
