In the morning, there are exciting plans for a behind-the-scenes guided tour of the American Museum of Natural History.

In the afternoon, we will hold a session dedicated to discussing meta:Wikimedia New York City issues (see the last meeting's minutes).

In the evening, we'll share dinner and chat at a local restaurant, and (weather permitting) hold a late-night astronomy event at Columbia's telescopes.

You can add or remove your name from the New York City Meetups invite list at Wikipedia:Meetup/NYC/Invite list.

Well also make preparations for our exciting Wikipedia Takes Manhattan event, a free content photography contest for Columbia University students planned for Friday March 28 (about 2 weeks after our meeting).

In the evening, we'll share dinner and chat at a local restaurant, and (weather permitting) hold a late-night astronomy event at Columbia's telescopes.

You can add or remove your name from the New York City Meetups invite list at Wikipedia:Meetup/NYC/Invite list.

[edit] Template:User gnulin3

Per userbox migration, a userbox you created (Template:User gnulin3) needs to be userfied. Would you like to migrate the userbox into your userspace? If you're not sure how, let me know and I'll take care of it. If you'd rather not have it under your userspace, I can adopt it into mine. Please let me know on my talk page. Cheers, xenocidic (talk) 16:22, 16 April 2008 (UTC) (Potentially divisive)

actually - let's leave it for now (so it's still in-line with the other gnulin ones). I'm trying to get a handle on whether or not userbox migration is still being conducted. Thanks for the quick response. xenocidic (talk) 16:08, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
Yep. Let's let sleeping dogs lie. xenocidic (talk) 19:52, 17 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] H.O.P.E.

Hi. Did you talk to any of the H.O.P.E. people? Did you manage to recruit any Wikipedians to talk there? Thanks.--Pharos (talk) 10:06, 5 June 2008 (UTC)

Hey Pharos. I just sent my idea for the 2 speeches/panels to the organizing, but I'm almost certain they will be confirmed. I still haven't recruited anyone yet, though. Any suggestions? Thanks! volt4ire 20:27, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
As I said, I think User:DGG would be a good inclusionist to ask if you're looking for an inclusioniism-deletionism debate. I don't know who is a deletionist. I would encourage you to take the initiative on this, because there's a limited amount I can do. Post at the meetup talk page and our mailing list and you should get some good replies. Thanks.--Pharos (talk) 23:39, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
Thanks again. Oh, and do we still need a help with funding for digitizing the Yiddish encyclopedia, because I have a contact at some Yiddish foundation that can help with the funding. volt4ire 02:15, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
Thanks. The Yiddish encyclopedia thing is quite complicated, and I'll have to get back to you on that.--Pharos (talk) 02:00, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
