[edit] DAF 66 as Pushmepullyou

The German Volvo 66 wiki article contains (at 9 Nov 07) the assertion that cars with DAF variomatic transmission could, at least in theory, travel as fast backward as forwards. I've never heard this before, but I guess there could be a certain ...um ... logic in there somewhere. Has a DAF expert any insights on this? If it were true, then it surely would be an interesting fact worthy of the wiki article! Charles01 21:06, 9 November 2007 (UTC)

It is, it was used as a feature in the Dutch television show "Ter land ter zee en in de lucht", you might even be able to find this on youtube! 89.100.139.245 12:10, 10 November 2007 (UTC)
