Since I'm a linguist who's picked up a few words in most Western languages, I could not help noticing a factual error: The Greek for "pleasure" is hedone (as in hedonism). Voluptas does mean "pleasure", but it is a Latin word (not Greek). Because the "Cupid and Psyche" tale is known mainly from Ovid's writing, it makes sense that he would name Psyche's daughter in his native language. ISNorden 16:22, 6 July 2006 (UTC)
