I would change the "Volgarians" reference- I grew up in Volga, and that term was what I'd heard a few people use in a joking manner about those of us in Volga- but never as a serious term.

Also I would not say tourism is "rampant" in Volga. There is simply NO tourism in that town, Old Timer's Day- as the one example- is attended mostly by people who live in town, that event is relatively unknown even in nearby Brookings. 7/27/07-- Josh M.


I've lived in Brookings for the last 5 years, and I've never even heard of Old Timer's Day. I'm in Volga all the time visiting in-laws and I know that there is no real tourism. "Rampant" is definately not the correct word for describing it. sdgjake 17:19, 6 September 2007 (UTC)
