Vojtěch Jarník

Vojtěch Jarník (December 22, 1897–September 22, 1970) was a Czech mathematician.
His main area of work was in number theory and mathematical analysis; he proved a number of results on lattice point problems. He also discovered the graph theory algorithm known as Prim's algorithm.
