A good candidate must:
- Intrinsic requirements
- Understand consensus
- Believe that Bureaucrates principly "measure" consensus
- AGF (reasonably) and be willing to listen and put thought into things
- Be well trusted
- Must know when to IAR; not be overly bureacratic or focused on simple stats
- Plan to use the tools significantly, not just get the title and sit there
- Be in touch with what being an editor/admin means
- Indicators of some of the above
- Have been decently active in RfA at least in the 30 days or so
- Exceptions obviously for users with illnesses. Also, a user that was at least very active a few months ago at RfA could pass if it was clear that they were going to become and stay active.
- Have experience as an administrator
- Continue to edit somewhat, as that keeps them in touch with our goals
