Vohemar (also Vohimarina) is a district in northern Madagascar. It's a part of Sava Region of Antsiranana Province, and borders the districts of Sambava in south, Ambilobe in west and Antsiranana II in north. The area is 8,204 km² (3,168 sq mi) and the population was estimated to be 169,687 in 2001.[1]
The district is further divided into 19 communes.
