This account has been created to represent Vocus, Inc. We are a public company based out of Lanham, Maryland, that provides on-demand software for corporate communications and public relations. Our three core offerings include public relations management; media monitoring and analysis; and news distribution.
We created this profile after we had been notified that a Wikipedia member had created a topic about us. In accordance with the general Wikipedia community guidelines, and the recommendations of notable Wikipedia members, we will abstain from editing the topic that concerns us. As recommended by Wikipedia founder Jimmy Wales [1] this profile has been created so we can engage with the Wikipedia community in the discussion pages of Wikipedia topics.
