  • Spader is the most liked traveler next to Bobby Pendragon, as shown by the amount of enthusiasm fans show about his character on the Pendragon forums.
  • Spader's character may be based on an Australian Stereotype, as he shows a liking for animals. He also has many sayings, some of which that appear to be based on Steve Irwin's trademark saying, "Crikey"

This "trivia" seems awfully subjective. There is no quantitative way to measure the "most liked" character in the series, and unless someone can provide a citation of DJ MacHale actually mentioning Steve Irwin's "Crickey" as an inspiration for Spader's colorful exclamations, this is mere speculation.Tyukhinela 23:59, 5 January 2007 (UTC)

I stand next to Spader being the most liked traveler (then again, I'm biased). As for 'Crikey' the back cover of the second book describes Spader as sorta Australian, though I doubt that's much proof. Terinjokes 16:39, 21 June 2007 (UTC)
