[edit] Title

Many sources state the name as "Vo imeto na ljubovta" - which (at this point in time) I believe is incorrect as the official Eurovision site calls it "Vo Ime Na Ljubovta" [1]. Also, if you listen to the lyrics they sing "...vo ime na ljubovta...".

Whether to capitalise all words (like in the Eurovision source) or not is a different matter. I think we should leave it as it is for now, unless someone can find the CD cover, or something as definitive. BalkanFever 06:55, 27 February 2008 (UTC)

I found that the name of the song is Tamara - Vo Imeto Na Ljubovta (feat. Vrcak & Adrian) which you can access it here:http://www.radiomk.com/Mp3_Download_Samo_Na_www.RadioMk.com_1_5_ewrrwasd/ It is a macedonian mp3 website which clearly states the name.It is interesting to note that they do sing vo ime na ljubovta so the tittle is a little bit confusing.(202.161.76.219 (talk) 10:03, 13 March 2008 (UTC))

Thanks. Do you know if the actual single has been released yet? I'm still trying to find the CD (cover) for a definitive proof. I think it should stay at the present title for now, because eurovision and radiomk could both be wrong. BalkanFever 10:10, 13 March 2008 (UTC)

I will ask at some of the forums to find out if the official cd is released. There is one more proof that the song is called Vo imeto na ljubovta : http://allkindsofeverything.ie/Belgrade08.htm —Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.161.76.219 (talk) 10:15, 13 March 2008 (UTC)

I don't know how much we can base on google, but ime [2] beats imeto [3] by about 100,000. BalkanFever 10:20, 13 March 2008 (UTC)

You are right, lets leave it as it is Vo ime na ljubovta until some cd cover is released. And just to finish with this the esckaz website the tittle of the Macedonian song is written as Vo imeto na Ljubovta:Source http://esckaz.com/2008/2008r.htm(202.161.76.219 (talk) 10:24, 13 March 2008 (UTC))

Well, the -to ending in "imeto" is the article. "Ime" is "Name" and "Imeto" is "The name" in Macedonian. So, "Ljubov" is "Love" and "Ljubovta" is "The love". It's like if I write "In Name of the Love" or "In the Name of the Love". I think the title is WITH the article, while in the song lyrics there is no article. SkafaTell me 01:59, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

That is true, but it is still confusing. In Macedonian, the article doesn't always go on the noun. For example, it always goes on the end of any adjective that modifies a noun. The thing is, using one article or two articles doesn't change the meaning of the phrase. They are both correct Macedonian AFAIK. BalkanFever 11:18, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

I put some informations regarding the versions of the song, the correct producers/composers and the semifinal draw as Macedonia had a chance to choose its position.I feel that we have to reformat it,because it looks kind of long.If you want a source for the above informations just tell me,I can put the sources. —Preceding unsigned comment added by ChRis (talkcontribs) 04:25, 29 March 2008 (UTC)

And guys lets get this over it:I finally found that the tittle of the song is Vo Ime Na Ljubovta, without doubt. So we can leave as it is,or alternatively we can just put In the name of Love or watever it is the english version of the song as In the name of love|Eurovision Song or something like that. —Preceding unsigned comment added by ChRis (talkcontribs) 04:32, 29 March 2008 (UTC)

Great work ChRis. You probably should provide a source for the information though, just in case. And think about joining WP:MKD. BalkanFever 04:37, 29 March 2008 (UTC)

Sources: This confirms that there are more version, such as russian, turkish and albanian and also some informations about the videoclip as well as that each version will have a different videoclip http://www.mmm.com.mk/?ItemID=5289BDD1146DEB4BA1A891FBD5CDE8DF This one confirms the above given info plus confirms Vrcak,Skenderovski,Kostov and Bilbilov as arrangers/composers/producers of the English lyrics. http://www.esctoday.com/news/read/10885

And this one is about the draw,as Macedonia had a chance of choosing which position to be in the 2nd semi: http://www.mmm.com.mk/?ItemID=68C6540EDBF3B545B02B0A5E4F2F0051 —Preceding unsigned comment added by ChRis (talkcontribs) 11:04, 29 March 2008 (UTC)

I also created an article about Skopje Fest 2008 as we were probably the only country of ESC that didnt have info put about the event Skopjefest this year.I looked at last year Skopje Fest 2007 and there was an article about it,so I decided to make one about this year. —Preceding unsigned comment added by ChRis (talkcontribs) 02:09, 30 March 2008 (UTC)
