VNS-41 is the first amphibious microlight airplane made in Vietnam. The A41 Factory (officially AIRCRAFT REPAIRING COMPANY A-41) under the Air Force and Air Defense Department (Ministry of Defense) manufactured the plane based on the Russian Che-22 "Korvet" design.

Fitted with an Austrian double engines, the VNS-41 is 6.980m long and 2.535m high, with a wing length of 11.650m and a maximum take-off weight of 780kg. Each can carry two or three people and reach a maximum range of 300km and maximum height of 3000m above sea level.

The plane will be used for forest patrol and agricultural purposes as well as for sport, travel and commercial use. The VNS-41 has an 80-litre capacity fuel tank, permitting it to fly for about four hours, and can travel at a speed of 120-135km an hour. The plane requires a 50-70m running warm-up on land and 200-300m warm-up on water. Weighing 780kg upon take-off, its entire hull, tail and middle wing are all made of high-quality composite materials

Technicians began developing the VNS-41 in June 2003. On September 12, 2005, the plane took off for its final test before going to the market.
