The Vliet is a river in the Netherlands, in the province of South Holland. In the Middle Ages the Vliet was an important link between the Oude Rijn and the Meuse. Nowadays the Vliet has been canalised and streams from Leiden, via Voorburg, Rijswijk and Delft to Rotterdam.
