Vladimir Iosifovich Kaplunov (Russian: Владимир Иосифович Каплунов, born March 2, 1933) is a former Russian weightlifter weightlifter, World champion and Olympic medalist, who competed for the Soviet Union.
He became World champion in the Lightweight class in 1962, and received a silver medal at the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo.[1]
