Vladimir Jugović (Serbian: Владимир Југовић) (born August 30, 1969 in Milutinovac, a village near Trstenik, Serbia, SFR Yugoslavia) is a Serbian football player. Throughout his illustrious career he turned out for numerous top European teams, winning the Champions League twice (with Red Star Belgrade and Juventus F.C.). He is regarded as one of the finest central midfielders that Serbia has ever produced.
Before coming to Red Star he played for FK Trstenik and was loaned to FK Rad from Red Star in season 1989/90. After estabilishing himself with FK Crvena Zvezda (Red Star), with whom he won the 1991 European Cup beating Olympique de Marseille in the final and International Cup beating Colo-Colo from Chile in a match in which he scored the opening two goals, he moved on to Italian side U.C. Sampdoria, in 1992. He spent 3 successful seasons at Sampdoria, before he was bought by Juventus F.C.. In two seasons at Juventus, he won the scudetto, as well as the UEFA Champions League. In the final, against Dutch side AFC Ajax, he scored the decisive penalty. Jugovic moved to S.S. Lazio in the 1997/1998 season, then Atlético Madrid the following year, before settling in Internazionale Milano F.C. in 1999, where he spent two seasons.
