Vladimir Ajdačić

Vladimir Ajdačić, PhD (born 1933 in Belgrade, Kingdom of Yugoslavia) is a famous Serbian nuclear physicist.

He received his Ph.D degree in physical chemistry from the University of Belgrade and worked at Vinča Nuclear Science Institute for nearly 40 years. He was a visiting professor at the University of Toronto and at the McMaster University in Hamilton. He published many articles in international journals, mainly in the field of atomic radiation detection.

Dr. Ajdačić also published many popular science articles and authored a book Nauka kao bajka ("Science as a Fairly Tale").
