From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Lord Vilwadrinatha Temple situated in Thiruvilwamala is one of the ancient temples in India. The temple attracts pilgrims from all over India, every year especially during the Ekadasi Festival around February. The temple is situated in a hill from which one can obtain a fantastic view of adjoining places. The heritage of this temple is very rich. Lord Vilwadrinatha is believed to maintain peace and calm in the region of Thiruvilwamala. This is evident given the fact that mixed proportions of people from different religions, castes, etc. co-exist in harmony. Thiruvilwamala is closely located to Ottapalam (10 km distance). The place is also close to Trissur by 40 km and 35 km from Palghat. Visit tvmala.80t.com[1]
