From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
|
This category contains mathematics articles which have been assessed as vital. To place an article in this category, add vital=yes to the {{maths rating}} template on the article's talk page. These articles should also be included on the list of Wikipedia:Vital articles.
To assess a mathematics article, update (or place) the {{maths rating}} template on the article's talk page, using the syntax:
{{maths rating
|class = quality grading
|importance = priority level
|field = field name
}}
There is also a vital parameter to categorize vital articles and a historical parameter to categorize articles with significant historical content.
The possible priority levels are Top, High, Mid and Low. The synonym priority is also available for the importance parameter.
The possible class quality gradings are FA (for Featured Articles only), A, GA (for Good Articles only), Bplus, B, Start, Stub. There are also additional classes for disambiguation pages, categories, images, and templates. See the maths rating template for further information.
Assessment should be based on the following table, which also lists the recognized fields.
