VisiTunes is a software application that calculates similarities between audio files in order to generate playlists. VisiTunes differs from other playlist generators such as MoodLogic, Slacker and Pandora in that there is no human involvement in the evaluation of similarity. The analysis of the song files is automated and is based solely on the audio content of the files.
The most recent (pre-release) version of VisiTunes is 0.9.1. It's available as freeware from a number of download sites. So far the program only runs on Windows, and only works with files in the MP3 format.
