Viscount of Irvine

Viscount of Irvine was a title created in the Peerage of Scotland on 23 May 1661 for Henry Ingram of Temple Newsam, Yorkshire and Hoar Cross Hall, Staffordshire. On the same day Ingram was created Baron Ingram in Peerage of England.
Five brothers held the title between 1702 and 1763. Nine Viscounts covered only four generations and the title became extinct on the death of the 9th Viscount in 1778.
