Viscount Wenman

Viscount Wenman was a title in the Peerage of Ireland. It was created on 30 July 1628 for Sir Richard Wenman, who at the same time was created Baron Wenman. The peerages became extinct on the death of the 7th Viscount on 26 March 1800.
The 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 6th and 7th Viscounts all served as Members of Parliament in the Parliament of England and later of Great Britain. All the titles were in the Peerage of Ireland, they did not have an automatic right to sit in the British House of Lords.
