Viscount Mountmorres of Castlemorres
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The title of Baron Mountmorres was created on 4 May 1756 for Hervey Morres, who on 29 June 1763 was created Viscout Mountmorres. Both titles were in the Peerage of Ireland. The third viscount began to carry the surname de Montmorency, and so all the other viscounts did. On the death of the seventh viscount in 1951, both the barony and the viscountcy became extinct.
