Visciano is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Naples in the Italian region Campania, located about 30 km northeast of Naples. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 4,607 and an area of 10.9 km².[1]

Visciano borders the following municipalities: Avella, Baiano, Casamarciano, Liveri, Marzano di Nola, Monteforte Irpino, Mugnano del Cardinale, Nola, Pago del Vallo di Lauro, Sperone, Taurano.
