"Viscera Eyes" is the first single from the album Amputechture by The Mars Volta. "Viscera Eyes" evolved from a song originally written for the band At the Drive-In. The full song (as found on the album) is 9 minutes and 23 seconds long. Pictures from a music video recording session surfaced in early September 2006, with Blake Fleming on drums and John Frusciante on guitar, but the video was never released.[citation needed].
