[edit] Welcome to the Wikipedia
Welcome, Visual Basic 5.0!
Here are some useful tips to ease you into the Wikipedia experience:
- First, take a look at the Wikipedia Tutorial, and perhaps dabble a bit in the test area.
- When you have some free time, take a look at the Manual of Style and Policies and Guidelines. They can come in very handy!
- Learn about some of the Wikipedia landmarks by trying our Wikipedia scavenger hunt!
- If you need any help, feel free to post a question at the Help Desk
- Wikipedia has a vibrant community of editors. The village pump is a great place to see the goings on.
- Remember to use a neutral point of view!
- Explore, be bold in editing pages, and, most importantly, have fun!
Also, here are some odds and ends that I find useful from time to time:
- Wikipedia:Five pillars
- Wikipedia:Brilliant prose
- Wikipedia:Be bold in updating pages
- Wikipedia:Bad jokes and other deleted nonsense
Feel free to ask me anything the links and talk pages don't answer. You can most easily reach me by posting on my talk page.
You can sign your name on any page by typing 4 tildes, likes this: ~~~~.
Best of luck, and have fun! – ClockworkSoul 17:43, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Hey!
<<unblock|This IP is used by a lot of people. It's a big company! You shouldn't block me when I'm logged in. If you want to block people who are not logged in using this IP, fine. But please unblock my logged-in name, OK?>> Thanks.
- I've converted the block to anon-only, since you seem to have a non-disruptive edit history built up. In this case, the IP address in question doesn't have too many edits and doesn't look abundantly shared -- blocking admins always have to make the best decision they can with the information they have available at the time. Sorry for the trouble. Luna Santin 22:17, 9 November 2006 (UTC)

- Thanks. FYI, someone should block 163.192.21.43 anon-only, also, since that IP is also used by us. Whoever here is doing the spam has a 50/50 chance of coming in via that IP. Visual Basic 5.0 14:30, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
