[edit] Scrying

Dear Vishvax, Just a note to say personal questions regarding scrying should be posted on a userpage like my talkpage or in a forum especially for occult discussions, not on Wikipedia article pages. However, just this once in answer to your question, most people I know prefer 'Natural Crystal' as the imperfections add to the overall experience. Best wishes - Solar 12:24, 2 November 2006 (UTC)

Ok... I'll never do that again. Sorry. Is this the "my talkpage" I'm not sure...

Shall I remove that piece of article I put there... Vishvax 14:56, 2 November 2006 (UTC) Vishvax

[edit] Crystal power

Howdy, I wanted to let you know I removed a section you added to the Crystal power article. My feeling is that it is original research, but I discussed the removal more fully on the talk page of the article, Talk:Crystal power. Feel free to discuss the removal there if you like. If I can help with anything, by all means feel free to write a note on my talk page User_talk:TeaDrinker. Best, --TeaDrinker 03:11, 22 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Moratuwa.JPG

Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Moratuwa.JPG. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI 16:43, 12 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Replaceable fair use Image:Moratuwa.JPG

Replaceable fair use

Thanks for uploading Image:Moratuwa.JPG. I noticed the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that fair use images which could be replaced by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if not used in an article), per our Fair Use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. VegitaU 20:39, 14 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Addition to Wicca article

Hello there, thank you for the additions you made. I'm afraid to say I'm a bit worried about them because they contained no citations to any published sources, which may mean that people will simply revert them. I think the problem is that Wicca is more a religion of practice than belief, so agreeing on 'What Wiccans believe' is probably going to be difficult! I've posted something on the article's talk page if you would like to see how the discussion goes. Kim Dent-Brown (Talk to me) 10:58, 13 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Your recent edits

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button Image:Wikisigbutton.png located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot 19:39, 26 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Ayubowan

Ayubowan, N.P. Vishva Kumara! Thank you for your response. I have not yet been able to translate it because my Sinhalese is still to poor for me to risk writing something bad :( Could you please help me translate a very short stub version of 1 or 2 sentences of this article for the සිංහල wikipedia? Thank you very much for any help you could provide. I hope to hear from you :) Bohoma isthuti! Yours, PeacefulLakmini (talk) 19:30, 26 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Request for help, please

Greetings Vishvax ,

Could you kindly help me translate these two short articles into the outstanding Sinhala language? Please.

Jesus Christ (8–2 BC to 29–36 AD), also known as Jesus of Nazareth, is the central figure of Christianity. He is commonly referred to as Jesus Christ, where "Christ" is a Greek-derived title meaning "Anointed One" Most Christians believe in Jesus as the Son of God sent to provide salvation and reconciliation with God by atoning for the sins of humanity.

The Bible is the holy book of Christianity. It is considered to have the word of God by all Christians. The Christian version of the Bible includes the 39 books of the Old Testament (originally written Hebrew) and the 27 books of the New Testament (originally written in Greek). As of 2003, the Bible, or some portion of it, has been translated into more than 2,300 languages or dialects.

Your help would be very Gratefully Appreciated, Thankyou very much. --Jose77 (talk) 02:34, 30 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Pentacle image

Hi Vishwax, I saw the image you added to the Pentacle article. Another editor actually removed it because it was mis-formatted, but I also believe this is not really an appropriate image to head the article with. The reason for this is that your image is (despite its name "Pentacle.svg") not really a pentacle, at least not in the traditional sense. In the past few decades, and particularly in the last ten years or so, it has become more and more common for people to consider a pentagram within a circle like this to be a "pentacle", however this is a modern misconception, and pentacles, more often than not, didn't even involve a five-pointed star at all! For more information on the traditional meaning of "pentacle", and how the more modern meaning developed out of this, see the article. Thanks, Fuzzypeg 23:30, 19 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Sri Lanka and Madagascar : Early history

Hi, I noticed that you're intersted on Sri Lanka history. I've made a contribution about Madagascar history (article: Andrianampoinimerina) and my personal researches point a possible origin in Sri Lanka to the Malagasy Merina nobility: Rajput wariors, Malay and Javanese wariors, AD 1200-1300, Buddhism, planting Ficus Religiosa, calling cattle "jomoka" (Sanskrit gomukha), dress in silk, wet rice in valley bottom, rice vocabulary in Tamil, etc. it seems like they fly away from Sri Lanka with their clan after a terrible battle. so please, if you know anything about Rajput warriorsn Malay and Javanese wariors who fled away from Sri Lanka between AD 1200-1300 telle me: it will solve bi problems in MAdagascar history. Thank you in advance. Cheers: --88.165.166.67 (talk) 04:02, 17 May 2008 (UTC)
