Vishnu Lankan was Woburn C.I's first Tamil Rapper. His first production, "Yeyeyeyey", was a big hit in Woburn, receiving almost 100 downloads within its' first hour of being released.Furthermore, Vishnu's immensely unique musical talent has caused him to leave Woburn C.I and to move to Winston Churchill C.I . Vishnu Lankan is arguably Woburn C.I's most influential rapper to date.

Conflicts faced during his career his first track was a "diss track" directed towards a grade nine student known as Emavann. Upon hearing this track, Emavann was infuriated and decided to take action. This led to a series of physical brawls between Vishnu and 'Ema' in which Vishnu lost. In the first battle, both participants engaged in a new style of battle known as 'foot frenzy' where they both danced around in an epilepsy fashion while tapping each others legs. During this battle, Ema punched Vishnu in the face and Vishnu fell to the floor immediately. Then, Ema kicked Vishnu in the face and Ema was crowned Champion. In battle two, they both swore violently at each other but unfortunately they did not fight. Researchers believe that their lack of fighting was caused by their fatigue from the intense foot frenzy that occurred earlier that day. In the third battle, Vishnu was torn to pieces. Ema began to pound on his head and a fellow student said 'Ema almost cracked his head like a coconut.'

After many hurdles and problems, Vishnu's career had a shaky start. However, we hope that his career fructifies. His dream is to have one of his tracks be on the top 20 list of Flow935. Let us all support Vishnu and his endeavours to become the ultimate rapper.

Vishnu's music is very provocative. His music often disagrees with the ideals of the gangs in the surrounding area as he disapproves of the gang behaviour that is very much active in Scarborough. The conflicts in his life have led him to realize the uselessness of fighting and violence. In his first single, "Yeyeyeyey", he mentions the repercussions of solving disputes via combat. His inspiration as stated in his first single is Mahatma Gandhi and Vishnu, too, believes in passive resistance. Bark Mreadner, the Vice-Principal of Woburn C.I, has noticed the significance decrease in gang activity and attributes some of it to the lifestyle-changing music of Vishnu Lankan.

Vishnu lives in Scarborough, Ontario with his parents.
