Virupakshipuram is a census town in Vellore district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.

As of the 2001 Indian census[1], Virupakshipuram had a population of 12,431. Males constitute 51% of the population and females 49%. Virupakshipuram has an average literacy rate of 71%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 76%, and female literacy is 66%. In Virupakshipuram, 9% of the population is under 6 years of age.
