Virugambakkam is in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. It's famous for Tamil filmaking and teleserial artists. It is also known for its cheap vegetables and famous houses.
Virugambakkam is one of the fastest growing localities in Chennai, with cheaper land prices bringing in fast growth.

- Devi karumari theatre campus with 3 theatres in it ,one is A/C DTS others are non A/C, The theatre is filled up on the first 3 - 4 days of a new movie release and tickets price soars up to even 100RS(considering its non ac -its too high). It is the only theatre in this area which has the cube digital facility.Since its located inside a street the traffic becomes messy when a new movie is released.
