Virola carinata is a species of tree in the Myristicaceae family. It is found in Brazil (Amazonas and Rondônia), Colombia and Venezuela.[2] It grows to a height of about 30m.[2] The fruit is subglobular, 16-20 mm long and 17-19 mm in diameter, found in groups of 4 to 12.[2]
