State Route 98 is a short primary state highway in Bland County, Virginia, United States. It runs south from an intersection with U.S. Route 52 and State Route 42 in Bland to a point beyond State Route 656.[2] The road continues southeast 1.6 miles[1] (2.6 km) as State Route 605 to a dead end north of Big Walker Mountain.
The route was added to the state highway system in 1931 as State Route 26Y, a spur of State Route 26 (now U.S. Route 52).[3] It was renumbered as SR 98 in the 1933 renumbering.
