State Route 4 is a short primary state highway in Mecklenburg County, Virginia, United States. It runs from U.S. Route 58 east of Boydton south over the John H. Kerr Dam to the North Carolina state line. In North Carolina, the road continues as Secondary Road 1200 in Warren County and Secondary Road 1369 in Vance County to U.S. Highway 1/U.S. Highway 158 in Middleburg.

The entire length of SR 4 is part of U.S. Bicycle Route 1.

SR 4 was added to the primary state highway system in 1952;[2] the dam was completed that same year.[3]
