State Route 293 is a primary state highway in the city of Danville, Virginia, United States. It was the first alignment of U.S. Route 29 in the city, and carried U.S. Route 29 Business until 1996, when the Danville Expressway was completed and the old US 29 alignment became a new U.S. Route 29 Business. SR 293 runs along West and North Main Streets, and crosses the Dan River on the Main Street Bridge.
