[edit] Character History

"A Devil in human form" could be the best description for Virginia Harrison. Evil, plotting and scheming person. When she first came on-canvas in March 1997, she was presented as a mother who lived alone with her son Jimmy. Soon it was revealed that she was plotting to get the love of Michael Bourne, a man who killed her husband by a mistake. She found out that Michael met Vanessa Hart, a young journalist, so she decided to do whatever it takes to break up the couple.

She learned that Vanessa's mother Lena had Martin's Syndrome, an illness, and decided to play with Vanessa's mind by pretending to be a nurse at her mother's hospital. She also tried to kill Vanessa during the Terror Island storyline, but decided not to. When everyone returned safe home, Virginia made up a sick plan. She used a potion from Mrs. Moreau to make Vanessa think that she had the syndrome, so Vanessa escaped and left Michael. She was hiding for some time, but her illness was soon cured. Virginia was shocked when her son almost lost his life during the Shockwave storyline.

Virginia then continued plotting by making up an even more disturbing plan. On a wedding night of Vanessa and Michael's friends, Virginia impregnated Vanessa by putting Tyus Robinson's sperm into Vanessa by using a turkey baster. Virginia was finally happy because Michael left Vanessa, but when Vanessa miscarried, Virginia had finally lost it. She went crazy and ended up in Cedar Oaks hospital, forever.
