co-educational, independent life-skills and college preparatory day school founded in 1955 under the care of the Virginia Beach Friends Meeting. Virginia Beach Friends School has more than 200 students enrolled in 4 divisions – Early School (Cottage, Treehouse, Pre-K and Kindergarten), Lower School (Grades 1-5), Middle School (Grades 6-8), and Upper School (Grades 9-12).

Virginia Beach Friends School continues a 350-year tradition of Quaker education for students from Early School to Upper School in an environment that recognizes the individual worth of each student.
