Virginia Anti-Gay Adoption Bill

The Virginia Anti-Gay Adoption Bill (2005 HR2921) would have required social workers to determine the sexual orientation of prospective adoptive parents to prevent gay people from adopting children in the state. The House of Delegates passed the bill 71-24, but a Senate committee ended the life of the bill. Paul Cameron was the chief witness for the legislation. [1]
