[edit] Reenactment
Here are some open WikiProject Reenactment tasks:
- Major work needed:
- Goals and scope need to be defined
- Comparison of historical reenactment events needs serious improvement
- Lists of groups needs serious improvement:
- List of medieval reenactment groups
- Comparison of historical reenactment groups
- Historical reenactment needs to be abstracted (currently focusses on American Civil War)
- Authenticity (reenactment) needs to be expanded (currently focusses on less-authentic medieval reenactment)
- Codex Belli needs an English summary of the basic ruleset
- Living history needs to be expanded
- Articles to write:
- Stone Age reenactment (might be just experimental archaeology)
- Ancient reenactment for Roman Empire, Ancient Greece, etc?
- Dark Age reenactment (redirect to Medieval reenactment?)
- Modern reenactment for 18th-20th century reenactment (American Civil War, Napoleonic Wars, World War II)
- Articles for major reenactment groups? (What defines a "major" reenactment group anyway?)
- Article about gunnery displays? Might be crossreferenced for details on black powder focused reenactment groups
- Boer War reenacting is a new (and experimental) trend, primarily with mostly modern reenactors.
- American Civil War firearms category is not generalized; there is only a Category:American Civil War rifles.
Feel free to edit this list or discuss these tasks.

I will happily adopt you. If you every want to ask a question just leave a message on my talk page, and I will reply on this your talk page. I can answer questions on the technical or policy side of Wikipedia, help out with how to communicate with other users or review any work you have done. Whatever the questions I look forward to hearing from you. Cheers Lethaniol 16:31, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
- Yes last time I checked I lived in England - am currently, at this very moment, working in Nottingham. Well not really working more surfing Wikipedia.
- Quick tip. When you leave a message on a talk page use ~~~~ i.e. 4 tildas, at the end of your comment, this on saving will convert into a link your user page and a time stamp. All check out Wikipedia:Cheatsheet.
- So for example when I write ~~~~ it produces = Cheers Lethaniol 17:47, 5 February 2007 (UTC)

No I am afraid I no nothing about the Confederacy - though I will read up at Confederate States of America. So please do not ask me about the facts and figures associated with this, I will have to stick to helping with non-content Wikipedia issues. Look forward to your questions.
