[edit] no G-virus?

where is the G virus sub-section? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.105.206.255 (talk) 17:35, August 28, 2007 (UTC)

Exactly thats what I was wondering too.

It used to be a big page, now it's just mentioned once in a small paragraph at the vottom OsirisV 15:37, 13 September 2007 (UTC)

Is there any way for someone to put back all that information on the G-Virus. Who earased it all?

I was wondering the same thing, a few weeks ago. Someone has been messing with a lot of Resident Evil pages. I hope they get repaired soon. -LordJhredmo 01:02, 19 September 2007 (UTC)

Well i edited a few redirect disputes though. but that was redirecting G-Virus HERE... it was either here or having it on T-Virus page with the words at the bottom being "Other Virus's include G-virus & T-Veronica."OsirisV 20:44, 30 October 2007 (UTC)
The T-G Virus or the G-Virus? The T-G Virus never had very much info, but the G-Virus section was edited because it was honestly just repeating "The G-Virus is unlike the T-Virus because it transfers by embryo, not blood contact". You can check old versions of the page - I tried to include as much as I could, but it was too damn redundant. Not even Mr. Lister's Koromon survived intact. 02:10, 31 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Virus

"The virus itself is a protein crystal with a DNA core"? Something pretty wrong there, I would guess.--80.164.62.246 18:27, 19 September 2007 (UTC)

No, that's actually correct (at least for the T-64). Check out some of the articles on real-world viruses.KrytenKoro 02:52, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
Actually, I think its supposed to be "a protein crystal with a RNA core", but I'm not a biology major :-p. After reading the Virus Wikipedia Article, apparently a virus can have either core. Unless an official source specified, we should probably leave it out. This article already has enough WP:WAF problems as it is. ;) --ShadowJester07Talk 15:38, 6 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Wesker's Virus

I haven't read the rest of the article too closely, so what I'm saying might apply to the sections on the other viruses too, but I want to say, I did drastic edits to the section because I felt it delved into a lot of irrelevant, unnecessary details about the virus, possibly even including original research. What the article should do is describe the backgrounds of the various viruses their relevance to the plot. Going into details like how they actually work at a molecular level is just too much unnecessary detail. I noticed there seems to be some opposition to my edits so I decided to start up this discussion. --169.233.5.115 23:44, 6 November 2007 (UTC)

However, these aren't supposed to be plot-summaries, so the most we could do in relation to plot was that he used it to fake his death. The virus had nothing to do with the Tyrant actually attacking him, or stuff falling on him - all it actually did was to give him the abilities to survive. We are also supposed to cover what the virus is, and the operations that the Report ascribes it are thus relevant.
If you can actually get citations from a game script or from the report, and they do not fit what is in the paragraph, go ahead and remove it. However, the basic type of info that is there is appropriate and relevant - this page is not about the plot of the games, but the viruses in it.Not even Mr. Lister's Koromon survived intact. 19:56, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
As the article currently stands it says the Wesker Virus only appears in RE, but then lists it occuring in another game. The article also says it ways removed from the remake, but the Albert Wesker article says it was added to one of the remake endings (or at least that what it leads me to believe). Since I havn't played the remake I don't know which of these statements is correct, otherwise I'd correct it myself.137.44.1.200 (talk) 07:09, 10 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Re2 cap11 lg.jpg

Image:Re2 cap11 lg.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
