[edit] Virtual Assistance in other countries

I would like to expand the subject to discuss specifics of Virtual Assistance in different countries. In Australia, virtual assistance is a relatively new concept and not as developed as in the USA. The same could be said of the UK and parts of Europe.

Specifically, I would like to include:

How to get started as a Virtual Assistant
What equipment you will need
What software is available to assist you
Information on the services that you can offer

There are a few new sites popping up that offer networking - example of this is VA Connect
