[edit] Possible Correction Needed
I've been in Norris dozens of times (although it hasn't been for years), but I am pretty sure it is only 3 stories tall, even including the 1 below grade. You can even count them in the photo. Can anyone on campus confirm or deny this? Neepster 16:16, 28 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Discussion at Virginia Tech
Please see the discussion (I use the term loosely - really, more like a series of monologues) related to this article. This article is a merger of a number of individual building articles. BigDT 05:21, 4 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] As soon as it is safe....
Could someone in Blacksburg get a photo of the two buildings involved in the shooting? This is, of course, only after it is safe and taking such photos wouldn't hamper emergency personnel or investigators. Cheers. youngamerican (ahoy hoy) 19:02, 16 April 2007 (UTC)
- I'm looking though my old pictures, but I doubt I have either of them. Our Spring game is this Saturday so, assuming they still have it, I will take photos then if someone hasn't already. --BigDT 19:31, 16 April 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks. youngamerican (ahoy hoy) 20:27, 16 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Tragedy Strikes is duplication of 2007 school shooting at bottom
Suggest add these details to the bottom >(User talk:elg26) 19:20, 16 April 2007 (UTC)
- I have merged the sections. --BigDT 19:31, 16 April 2007 (UTC)
- This may sound cruel, but the massacre/shootings don't have much of a place on this article, with it being more about the buildings and as a sort of sub-article of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. It is a needless re-summarization of the Massacre section of the VT article and the full article on the VT massacre. The sections of this article on the engineering building and the dormitory should mention the massacre and link directly to VT massacre on a key word or two. Kevin_b_er 00:27, 18 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Non-building Campus Landmarks
I know almost nothing about VA Tech, but as I began reading this article it became obvious that the Campus has a large "drillfield" that is significant to campus life. I added in a section to this article on Non-building Campus Landmarks and included the drillfield as a subheader. If there are other Non-building Campus Landmarks such as rocks people paint, a central quad, or ... something else(???)... you should add them in this new section. MPS 06:48, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Norris Hall
In light of the current petition to rename this building, could someone dig up the information about for whom this building is currently named? Thanks. HokieRNB 17:31, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Pritchard Hall
What information do we want to cover about Pritchard Hall? I will write an article about it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Has1285 (talk • contribs) 03:01, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
