Here are the changes I can find:

  • 03-1942-01 12: added 0.015 mi from the end of Clay Street to the Power Plant
  • 05-1973-01 21-22: removed 0.015 mi from the end of East Clay Street south to the central power plant

I can't find anything else. The route index just says "Roads in the grounds of Virginia Commonwealth University (Medical College Campus) at City of Richmond." Are we sure that it's only this one road? --NE2 14:52, 28 September 2006 (UTC)

The huge list of "other streets" (unnumbered streets) in 09-1982-01 does not include Duval east of 8th or several other roads in that area. I'm still trying to look for more information, but I'm really not finding anything. --NE2 15:22, 28 September 2006 (UTC)

I originated the article, and I am speaking from firsthand experience. It only goes between those two exact points. At the bottom of the hill, where the route begins is a "Begin State Maintenance" Sign, and at 8th Street is a "End State Maintenance" sign. I also have a photograph of the reassurance shield I can upload. It is a real state route, and I have yet to locate anything else about Route 353 except for that little piece of road next to I-95, which is a commonly-driven road for people visiting MCV hospital. —WhosAsking 08:09, 6 October 2006 (UTC)

Do you have anything that proves that this is the only piece of SR 353? Many of these "facility routes" have more than one piece, and often only some are signed. It's not that I don't believe you, but that I'm not sure that you're correct, and that we need reliable sources. --NE2 08:24, 6 October 2006 (UTC)

I emailed VDOT and received a speedy response:

State Route 353 is comprised of that section of Duval Street from the intersection with 8th Street traveling east adjacent to I95/I64 and ending at the MCV Main Hospital on 13th Street.

It's probably less than ideal with respect to reliable sources, but it's good enough for me. --NE2 16:03, 6 October 2006 (UTC)
