This photo is taken from STF archive in Bangalore, Karnataka. As no other public domain photo can possibly exist of this moment so under US copyright law this photo can be used in the wiki article mainspace on the ground of fulfilling all the necessary criteria of Fair use, this photo can also be found in the full page biography brought out by Kumudam, Tamil Weekly a day after death of veerappan.
