Vip operator is the third mobile network operator in Macedonia.
Vip Operator is a member of the mobilkom austria group. On March 26, 2007, Vip Operator acquired the license for mobile communications operation from the Agency for Electronic Communications, worth 10 million euro for third mobile operator in Macedonia, after winning on the tender for the 10 year GSM 900/1800 license automatically continued for additional 10 years. In keeping with the license requirements operation must begin within six months of license acquisition and coverage must be available to 30% of the population within 12 months of the date of acquisition. Population coverage of 50% must be achieved within 24 months, with 90% coverage to be reached within 48 months.

The IMSI - Network Code of Vip is 294-03 and the MSISDN Network Codes are 077 (international: +389 77) and 078 (international: +389 78).
VIP operator is the Macedonian network of the Vodafone Group, as per agreement announced on 20 May 2008.

Vip currently uses GSM 900 and until it builds its own network will function as a virtual operator leasing capacity from T-mobile Macedonia.
