VIP is a ghanaian rap crew that consist of members Promzy, Prodigal, and Lazzy. They brought Ghana to attention with their hit Daben Na Odo Beba. After they also brought their #1 hit Ahomka Womu. This song was played at every Ghanaian party, radio station, and their video was also very popular. Next they had their song Besin and collaborated with Nigerian singer Tony Tetuila on the track 2 Women. They have brought their music to places like Sierra Leone, London, and New York. In April 2007, they were named best African hiphop group. They've won 5 ghana music awards, won a Channel O Africa Video Music Awards as the Best Group in Africa. They also travel to nigeria to do music with some of the nigerian mucicians. Which they call Ghana naija rap - ceo4eva
