[edit] Baden

[edit] Baden

In the first place, the page was moved without any discussion. I have every right to move it back until someone makes the case that the move should take place. In the second place, the use of Baden for the region of southwest Germany makes the most sense. Most of the other Badens are known by disambiguators (like Baden bei Wien), and the region is by far the most common usage. I see no particularly good reason not to have the main Baden article be about the region. john k 22:18, 10 August 2005 (UTC)

Ok, sorry, that I moved without a discussion. But I thinked it have to be so. I think, nobody can say which region is more important, than every Baden has got his history, example Baden, Switzerland is the beginning place from the big company ABB, and this city was for 3 years the capital of Switzerland. In the German version is Baden disambiguation the main page.
I saw there's a Baden state in the USA too.--Viperch 21:07, 11 August 2005 (UTC)

Hi Viperch! Thanks for your message. I don't have a particularly strong preference for what I proposed, but I think it was important to draw attention to the issue and create discussion, since the current title Baden Germany is absolutely unusual, and there are two disambiguation pages (Baden and Baden (disambiguation)) at the moment. Probably I should pay a visit to Baden bei Wien next weekend. Greetings from Vienna! Martg76 20:35, 19 September 2005 (UTC)

Hi, thanks for your comment on my talk page (you did not have to erase it, even if you realised I was not the right person). Good job on putting the copyright on Commons. I removed the duplicates template in the English wikipedia. Cheers, Schutz 23:59, 16 January 2006 (UTC)
