Violet Blanche Webb (February 3, 1915 – May 27, 1999) was a British athlete who competed mainly in the 80 metre hurdles.
She competed for Great Britain in this event at the 1932 Summer Olympics held in Los Angeles, USA, finishing fifth in the final. She also featured in the 4x100 metre relay, where she won the bronze medal with her team-mates Eileen Hiscock, Gwendoline Porter and Nellie Halstead.
Her daughter Janet Simpson won the same medal in the same event at the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo.
She also competed in the 1934 Empire Games, held in London, England, winning the bronze medal in the long jump, and reached the semi-finals of the 80 metre hurdles at the 1936 Summer Olympics held in Berlin, Germany.[1]
