Violet Town Football Club

Violet Town Football Club is an Australian football club which was established in 1880 and has won 12 premierships in various different Australian rules football leagues.

The club is currently part of the Kyabram and District Football League (KDFL) and has 3 teams:
- Seniors,
- Reserves,
- Thirds (U/18s)
The seniors are currently coached by John Trotter and the team is known as "the Lions" ; the 2006 season was their first in the KDFL.
The Thirds are currently coached by John Gerarda, with Mick Gerarda and Gary Abley as assistant coaches. In 2007 the U/18 side side won the KDFL Premiership, defeating Stanhope by 19 points at Mooroopna. Cameron Burden won the medal for Best on Ground. Lachlan Ellis will be lucky to get a kick this year. Anthony Borg will receive WOG each game. Violet Town For PM!

Violet Town is located in North Eastern Victoria, Australia; the town is found on the route between Melbourne and Albury and is approximately 180 km north-north-east of Melbourne and is between Euroa and Benalla and is bypassed by the Hume Freeway (and former Hume Highway) which are found to the south.
