Violet Dalrymple, Countess of Stair

Violet Evelyn Harford, a descendant of the 2nd Earl of Rosse, was the daughter of Colonel Frederick Henry Harford (d. 20 August 1926) and Florence Helen Isabella Parsons (d. 30 June 1931).
She married Sir John James Dalrymple, 12th Earl of Stair, son of John Hew North Gustav Henry Hamilton-Dalrymple, 11th Earl of Stair and Susan Harriet Grant-Suttie, on 20 October 1904. She was styled as Violet Dalrymple, Countess of Stair.
