Vinoda Basnayake is an American born Sri Lankan entrepreneur who co-founded Blazin-Beats Entertainment, LLC and the Night Life Agency with Kunal Shah. Basnayake was dubbed a "powerbroker in concert promotions" by the Washington Post after successfully selling out UK singer Jay Sean's first US Tour. ([1]).
Basnayake is a 2003 alumnus of Georgetown University and a native of Washington DC. He received his JD from the University of Pennsylvania Law School with a Certificate in Business and Public Policy from the Wharton School of Business. Basnayake also founded the non-profit organization Awakening Hope ( [1]), an ngo dedicated to funding and organizing socially entrepreneurial projects, with fellow Georgetown University alum S. Atif Ansar.
